In the month of November 2025 and early December 2025, Our Shiny Stars team drove a clothing drive that collected over 2 pick up trucks worth of clothing across communities in Garner and some communities in Apex. Our community came together once again to make a real difference.

Through the generosity of over 120 families, we were able to collect hundreds of clothing items to families in need across our area. What started as a simple call for donations turned into a powerful reminder of what happens when a community shows up with compassion.
From winter jackets and sweaters to pants, shirts, and everyday essentials for children and adults, every single item donated carried warmth, dignity, and hope. As temperatures dropped, your contributions ensured that many families did not have to face the cold without support.
This drive was not just about clothing. It was about:
- Neighbors helping neighbors
- Teaching our children the value of giving
- Turning intention into action
- Building a culture of service within our community

What We Collected
Thanks to the overwhelming support of the community, we collected and distributed:
- Winter jackets and coats
- Sweaters and hoodies
- Children’s clothing
- Everyday essentials for men and women
- Shoes and seasonal wear
Every item donated represented more than fabric — it represented warmth, dignity, and compassion during the colder months.
Impact
As temperatures dropped, these contributions ensured that many individuals and families did not have to face winter without adequate clothing. Beyond material support, this drive strengthened the bonds within our town and reinforced a culture of giving.
Gratitude
To every family who donated, every volunteer who gave their time, and every community member who spread the word — thank you.
This was not simply a clothing drive.
It was neighbors helping neighbors.
It was action over intention.
It was community at its best.
We are grateful for the continued support and look forward to expanding our impact in the months ahead.
